Mt. Wesley and Other Cemeteries

Into the Kaipara

Unfortunately the cemeteries at Dargaville (New RSA Mount Wesley), Te Kopuru (Redhill), Mangawai, Arapohue and Tokatoka which are administered by the Kaipara District Council have no online database at time of writing. In the first instance you will want to contact the council.

The Kaipara District Council also supports the maintenance of the Kaiwaka and Otamatea RSA cemeteries (Maungaturoto (Congregational and Anglican).

Please do refer to the Find a Grave and Billiongraves submenu, for details of servicemen interred in plots in these cemeteries. These proved to be a great find, as I was able to enter up cemetery and plot details for many interred in these and some of the smaller cemeteries to be found in the Kaipara district, including Kaihu and  Mangawai South.

A few months back I spoke with one of the council staff who informed me that hopefully a Kaipara Council online database will be up and running, in the near future.
